Family Party at the Bonds

Yesterday was a lot of fun. My Sister, Kara, is up visiting with her family. They have been living in Boston but are moving to SLC this next week. We have had the funnest time getting together. Our kids love each other.

Lauren (6) and Kylie (7) were best buds...it will be hard to see them leave.Plus EFY at BYU-I starts today and three of my nieces came to attend. They all came a few days early so we could visit with them. Alison, my brother Brad's 2nd daughter, and Abbie & Courtney, my sister Julie's two girls. It is weird seeing them all grown up. My memories of them are when they were my girls' ages...3, 4, 5...etc. They are beautiful girls.
My brother Scott and his whole family came too, so it was a crowded house. Luckily mom made plenty of fried chicken. We had fun, ate well, and didn't want to go home!
Here are a few pictures from the festivities.

Courtney and Abbie
when we moved to WA in 2003 they were just little girls then...
now look at what TX has done to them!!
The girls got a little silly trying on our old prom dresses.
I think some of mine still look cute enough to wear today.
I wish they all lived closer so we could see them all the time. We missed their mom's and dad's.

Okay, the pictures of the old prom dresses are hilarious... how fun! I bet your girls just LOVED having these very cute young women around. Glad you guys had such a great time!

Wow! Those dresses bring back memories. The black with the sheer sleves was always my favorite.

P.S. where were those pictures taken? I recognize your Mom's striped couches, but the background doesn't look the same?
